Florent Mateo fka FLAWD, formerly of the famed French music group, 3Somesisters, who captivated audiences at institutions and large stages like Colette and the Bastille in Paris, embodies his unique, androgynous, meticulous style with creative direction, vocals, performance art, and music. Striking combinations of multi-dimensional trip-hop, electro culture, and weightless, graceful movements are found throughout his multi-faceted projects. His style is comparable to artists like Björk, Oscar and the Wolf, Thom Yorke, Flume, and Chet Faker.

…graceful melodies and LoFi beats are now fighting the revolution they were waiting to start in… To feel insignificant but anciently connected to everything, this is the feeling I look for…” – Grungecake.

Mateo, a classically trained jazz musician, breaks away from clean, polished, technologically produced song writing. As a confident vocalist and performer, he masters and complements the octave scale with vibrant melodies and hypnotic rhythmic dancing. While carefully manipulating and exploiting how music is delivered to audiences, Florent Maeto’s style is constantly evolving. He has delivered more than 200 performances worldwide at events and venues like Transmusicales, Paléo Festival, Podium of the Pride March, Philharmonie de Paris, Salle Pleyel, Elysée Montmartre, Tile of the Temple, Reykjavik Rock Hall Festival, and The Standard DTLA.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
